OK. Here's how to make a cheap and cheerful mount for it. It does not come with a mount. You'll need tin snips and a drill. A piece of sheet plastic from a kitty litter pail, or a piece of sheet steel, say, .010. Cut to the outline of the box plus two tabs, one on either end. Remove the 4 screws and the back panel. CAREFULLY drill same size holes in the plastic or metal, using the box's backplate as a template. Drill 1/8 hole in either tab. Screw in the 4 mounting bolts thru the plate you just made. Drill holes for #6 sheet metal screws where you want to mount, thru the holes on the tab. Screw in the screws. Done. All now is to add the cabling. Easy stuff.
Would I recommend this to a CB radio friend? Yes.
it is a small device
