Product Description

From the Manufacturer

These pads support the knee in a whole new way to reduce harmful pressure on the patella and distribute body weight evenly - and awesomely. True, that which does not kill you, makes you stronger. But that which does not kill your knees, well, that makes you invincible and a helluva lot more pleasant to be around. It's the largest joint in the body, and with more than 6 million reported injuries a year, the most likely to be hurt on the job. To protect your precious knees, Ergodyne offers a range of heavy and light duty pads designed to provide support and protect against the shock, impact and abrasion that comes with on-the-job kneeling.

I use kneepads almost every day doing remodeling work and I was looking for a comfortable, stable kneepad to replace a discontinued Bucket Boss brand that had provided years of great service. I tried the best kneepads available at the local supply stores and they did not provide much protection and comfort and within a month my knees would be sore by the end of the day. When I got these kneepads I was concerned when I saw the sleeves and a lower strap to hold them in place. It would be too time consuming to get them on and off using the sleeves so I use just the lower strap with the thought they would not stay in place well. I've been very pleased with how well they stay in place and they have the stability, comfort, and protection that I was looking for at a reasonable price. They are very light and comfortable enough to have on all day. I am very pleased with them so far.

I am a handyman who spends at times 10-12 hours a day on my knees, installing flooring, and decks. I have tried four different brands of the most expensive knee pads available, and these, having a more durable and larger gel area within the kneepad, are by far are the best. Having gel throughout the majority of the interior, as apposed to only the knee cap was important to me. I suffer from Osgood-Schatter's Disease, from my childhood. This caused the top of my tibia to protrude out farther than my knee cap. Usually my "knooby knees" will grind a hole right through the padding or gel of a knee pad. This however is not the case with the Pro Flex 347. My only complaint is that I prefer the comfort of the wide strap, like the one on the Pro Flex 345. As far as my knees are concerned, I have never been happier. I will never wear anything else. Thank you.

Ordered these bck in March, been usin them now for jst about a month. i wrk as a merchant seaman, so im on my knees alot wrtk on a steel deck, and these things wrk great ! comfortable as they come, nice padding as well. i been wearing them for about 10-12 hours a day with shorts, and have had no problem with them. the velcro strap on the botton is a nice add feature, i dont use it much, but u can secure it to the front of the pad. bottom line i love them, great pads !

I thought the features of this product would make it superior. For example- the Gel for comfort and the design of the front cover to provide stability. I found it was very easy to slide off sideways because the front cover height is so high and the Gel covering material is a low friction type. I tightened the straps as much as possible but the problem remained. I ended up using my old foam knee pads again. I still think these ProFlex knee pads could be a great product with a small amount of re-engineering.

I was about to give a 5 star rating for these knee pads, recommended it for my friends, but after 1 month using it, the gel moved and there is no protection at all. I install wood flooring and spent 8 hours per day on my knees, I bought these based on the good reviews, and I wish it had a good durability, unfortunately after just 1 month using it, I'm looking for a new pair of knee pads.

Being in the Automotive and train industry for 17yrs i've had my share of kneeling down. These are actually thee best knee pads i've ever worn after several other brands and types in industrial pads even sports knee pads. My coworkers would agree also cause they were impressed. Knees are'nt sore after 8 hours of work and I can still go to the gym and run without sore knees. Highly recommend due to the fact that the outer pad mates evenly (squared) with the floor surface and the inner gel pad contours to your knee (rounded) which counterbalances you as your working so your not rolling to the side as most knee pads do. As for the "Long Cap" model. I'd have to say its perfect cause the back straps are a bit more separated so they dont dig into the back of your knee in comparison to the short cap which i've also owned in this brand. Hope this is helpful to all you hardworking people!

As an auto technician, when I first got into the business (35 years ago) I was told by "old timers" that I shouldn't kneel directly on the concrete floor of the shop. Well, I knew better and now my knee hurt most of the time. I purchased these knee pads and tried them when I work under dash boards etc. and they truely do cushion my knee. No pain! I would highly recommend these to anyone who spends time kneeling on concrete floors or other hard surfaces.

I just got a promotion at work and started working graveyards in the grocery store, stalking the shelves all night. My first night 2 nights on the job I was miserable because I didn't have any knee pads. Once I recieved these proflex ones though, my knees felt beyond amazing spending the better half of my 8 hour shift on my knees on the hard floor! I originally didn't really want to wear knee pads because I thought they'd look rediculous. I was thinking that if I did get some, I'd wear them under my jeans. There is no way to wear these under jeans though, as they are pretty good sized. They are very comfortable to wear over my jeans though once you figure out how tight you want the straps.

These knee pads are amazing, and WELL worth the price that you pay. Another nice thing is the "flat" front of them that prevent you from rolling to one side or another
