Quality of the heater is very good.

It won't heat as fast as gas-sourced heat, but it does bring the temperature up in a small room rather quickly with good fan action.

I normally heat my detached garage with a propane blower (VERY loud), which heats it pretty fast.

Works better than a 120. It heats the area quicker. We use it to heat the garage and it does a good job- we're in upstate NY.

I have my exercise area set up in the small side of a 3 car garage.
I turn it on when I get up in the morning and in about an hour the garage
is warm and toasty. I live in Las Vegas and it got down to the 20's for about
a week. During that week it took about 1.5 hr to warm.

If there is a down side, I had to have an outlet installed because it requires more than 110 volts.

What a nice heater. I did not like the short cord and I had to build an extension cord for it. Well that is not too bad, now I have an extension cord for my welder also.

I bought this heater for my 900 sq ft garage with 8 ft ceilings. I was a bit skeptical about it being able to heat that size of building. I run it along with a small cheapo space heater and it does excellent. Keeps my insulated garage very comfortable in below zero to 20 degree temps. It does run a bit, but not constantly and it isn't too horrible on the electric bill either. I'm happy with it.

As an alternative to gas heat, this works great. It won't heat as fast as gas-sourced heat, but it does bring the temperature up in a small room rather quickly with good fan action.
