I use this product at work on the daily bases and it is exceptionally convenient and simple to navigate. It allowed us to create and maintain a completely paperless office. I am surprised at the low price it is being sold at, it is an amazing product would absolutely recommend.

My practice evaluated several EMR, EHR, SOAP note products. Most of them are way more expansive than Advantage EMR. Initially our thinking was, you get what you pay for, but this changed rapidly as we learned the features and functionality of this product. Advantage EMR functionality is on par and in many cases exceeds functions available in far more expensive products. We validated one minute claim, yes, using this product you can create SOAP notes in under a minute. Being pragmatic, obsessive-compulsive that I am, I compared ability to customize and streamline note creation and modification. After comparing to other products I learned that Advantage EMR had a very important set of features that is not present in other products we evaluated. HPI custom template selections. This allows users to populate two lists, one of them acts as a template (very useful for office nurse or medical assistant). Ability to customize ROS and Examination templates. I found that setting default values for the template items is extremely handy (I.e. Psych: orientation A&Ox3). Defaults of course can be easily changed when needed. Creation and alteration of context-sensitive custom pick list for each template item. Customized A/P pick list. Ability to copy notes, etc. As for technology: Advantage EMR Light is very easy to backup and recover in the event of computer failure. Pin-based security is simple and user-friendly. Office staff loves this product. It was easy to learn, easy to use, it significantly improved office communications and reduced filing. We started with an Advantage EMR Light and after a short while its overwhelming benefits convinced us to upgrade to the full version of this product. I think this is a smart strategy to allow people to computerize one part of the practice before they make larger commitment. I strongly recommend this product.
