As the title says, these magnets are cheap and very weak. I bought them to hold bottle caps on a refrigerator and they just barely hold them. If you are using these on paper, you are probably ok, anything else, you will either have to use several magnets on the item or you will need to get some that are higher quality.

I can't give these things any higher than a 3-star rating. They're just magnets, right? So, what is there to really review? Well, I'll tell you. The strength of the magnets are pretty good. I'm not sure what the one reviewer was talking about when she said it'll only hold paper. Unless she was trying to hang a friggin' brick on her fridge, then I don't see any reason these magnets wouldn't be strong enough. But, that's not the reason I'm giving it a bad review. I'm giving it a bad review because E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G I have stuck these magnets on have left a white, powdery residue. It's weird. I've never had a problem with something so basic as MAGNETS. But, whether it's stainless steel, a regularly textured fridge, etc...ANYTHING I've tried...it leaves the residue. Then when you look on the magnet, you can clearly see it. I've been making my own magnets for years, it's such an EASY and simple thing to do, but no other magnets I've used have done this. It's oddly strange, but it's very difficult to get the residue off once it's on there. So, for that reason, I won't be purchasing again.

These are perfect magnets for crafts. Not too strong, the exact size I needed, very reasonable even with the shipping cost. They also seem to have a coating so they won't scratch. I'm so glad I didn't get the tiny super strong ones; they would have bee problomatic. I'm making my own spice containers that will adhere to the front of my frig. I'm saving a ton by making my own and I couldn't be happier!

Good magnets for the price. They still have a residue on them that will leave marks on your projects if you do not clean them prior to use.

These magnets are much stronger than the typical hobby magnets you buy at a craft store. These will easily hold several thick sheets of paper to a fridge. I used these for bottlecap magnets; I used hot glue to secure them to the bottlecaps. I would not use elmers or similar, as I believe the magnets' strength is too strong for these types of glue (you'll pull whatever's attached to the magnet off of the magnet).

I bought this to make magnets using 1" discs and they are perfect. I've already ordered a second set. They are strong enough to hold over a dozen sheets of paper on the fridge. Also, they are a great thickness- thin enough that the magnet doesn't stick out too far from the surface of the fridge.

Purchased these for my daughter who likes to make clay baked magnets. These magnets are strong enough to keep her clay crafts attached and sticking to the fridge.

I loved these. I have no idea why people think they are weak! I was honestly worried when I ordered them but needed them ASAP so went for it. They were much better then what I read about in reviews! They were quite strong and help up my wooden tags perfectly. They were great and will reorder them soon! They should be able to hold up almost any craft item. small rocks, bottle caps, etc.
