I was considering a UpLULA Universal Loader but decided to try this first for my 9mm S&W. Especially after having a popular 22 cal. speed loader fall apart in my hands while loading a high capacity mag on the 2nd load. Simple is best. This loader works well after you insert 1st round. This also works well on my kel-tec pf-9 magazines. It's easy to center and loads it just fine, maybe even better than the S&W. Great product for the price!

i had high hopes for this, not for me you see, i never really trained myself to need one of these to load a magazine for my smith and wesson m&p 40, however i recently bought my wife an m&p 40 Compact and she was having trouble loading her mags, so i found this and bought it but much to my surprise it came today and i was excited about it, i opened it and told her to try it out, and she said it wouldn't work, so i checked it, and it is way to narrow inside the loader to fit around the mags, at least by an eight of an inch or so, so i had to flatten the whole thing out and reshape it to fit the m&p mags, so if you have a smith and wesson stay away from this unless you dont mind given 15 bucks for something you still have to work on to make it fit....

No more Herculean finger tip strength needed to load in those last two rounds.
Simple tool that makes loading simple.

UPDATE: This does not work with S&W High-Cap 9mm mags. The mags are too wide.

Too narrow to slide over the 14 round S&W Sigma .40 caliber magazine. Won't work. Period.

I bought this to load my double-stack Ruger P89/P95 9mm magazines. It's made of pretty heavy steel and fits snug, yet moves easily on my magazines. No sharp corners means that these won't snag and are comfortable to handle. The little tab in the back adds leverage for easy one-hand operation as well. I like these steel ones a lot better than the plastic universals I've used--they don't flex at all and will surely hold up better when rattling around my range bags. Couldn't ask for more, considering what these are designed to do.

I got this for my Glock 22. Based upon the sizes specified, it would have fit very well. But unfortunately it was under the sizes given and would not work on my magazines.

I bought one of these loaders for my Taurus 24/7 DS Pro 9mm since it did not come with a loader. It fits the magazine perfectly and it is easy to push the ammo down. I like the simple slim design. It is very similar to the magazine loader that comes with Ruger pistols.

I was looking for a single stack loader for the last couple rounds in my Sig P938. I looked long and hard at this one and thought it looked like a single stack loader in the pic. The description didn't say double stack, so I ordered it, but it wasn't. It works, but is loose and you have to pay attention to the alignment of the pusher. I just wanted to mention this so others don't make the same mistake. I'm sure it will do just fine with double stack mags.
