I really just purchased this to give promaster lenses a try. I was very impressed with its focus speed outdoors in sunlight. The true test was low light and indoors under artificial lights. There have been a few times the lens has hunted for focus and gone from one end to the other but for the price I paid for it I am happy. How often do you actually zoom to 200mm in your living room anyway. I use it mostly for pictures outside of birds, my son on his power wheel, or anyhting else where this zoom range is handy.
