I wish I would have read the reviews about the buckle before I purchased this item. So I get the rings do a few pull-ups on them and within a work out or two the buckle on one of the straps stops working. So then I try to find the company using google and apparently they are not the only "Prosource Fitness Equiptment" and apparently the company that comes up on google has gotten so many complaints about this company that they have developed a letter to Amazon consumers that expains how they are not affiliated with the Amazon version of Proforce.
The letter goes as such:

To whom it may concern:

Prosource Fitness Equipment Inc. located in Raleigh, NC has no affiliation with the Amazon based "Prosource Discounts USA" also known as "Source". It appears that this company is not willing to place a contact number on the Amazon site. We have received several phone calls and e-mails requesting assistance for products purchased on the Amazon website. These concerns should be re-directed to Amazon and ultimately "Prosource Discounts USA"
We have tried unsuccessfully to contact this company through the "contact us" tab on the Amazon site.
We have also contacted Amazon to request any contact information for "Prosource Discounts USA". These requests have been met with resistance due to the fact that Amazon's policy is to not release its vender's contact information if it is not listed on the Amazon website. Amazon is currently working on a solution at this time. We expect that Amazon will force "Prosource Discounts USA" to add legitimate contact information to their site if customers continue to complain to Amazon.
If you have the packing list or shipping information that was included with your product, it should contain contact information from the shipper.

These rings are the real deal. Get nylon straps, steal cables, some shocks, and beam mounts and you've got yourself a professional grade gymnastics stills rings set up! These rings can hold up to 1000lbs! In comparison to other sets of rings that you can buy for ~$100 bucks, these are are 2X as good and 1/2 the cost. Win in double quality and Win-Win in a fraction of the competitors price! I bought two sets of these right away when I saw them. Great product, great value, great buy. Highly recommended.

**I used to coach gymnastics, I really enjoy rings strength training still to this day, and have a lot of experience dealing with different sets of rings. Best I've seen so far... (except of course the real rings towers they use in competition with the fiberglass rings. But those are $5000 and these are $40~ freakin awesome! And actually these rings meet the competition strength requirements.. soo.. yea)

I have been using these straps for about one month now once or twice a week with three gym partners. I am a 225lb power lifter. I have had no issues with slipping that others have reported. If you place the strap straight into the locking mechanism of course it will slip. I loop the strap over the back support bar and then back the opposite direction through the lock. We use the rings for pull-ups and ab work. The rings work great for different hand positions on pull-ups. The only negatives might be: the lack of measurements on the straps that come on a similar more expensive model, if you wear rings or metal on your shoes the rings can scratch slightly, and one of my locks is off alignment (not affected performance though). BE CAREFULL DOING DIPS ON THESE, EXTREMELY DIFFICULT due to the support muscle necessary which dont get used on fixed benches.
I think they are a great buy at a great price.

Just had to write a review. Because I saw a couple people rate this product down because of the clips.
People say that the clips dont bite or that they slip or that they are flimsy... if thats the case then it must be that you ran the straps wrong. or maybe they changed and I got the upgraded product because I could run over these things with truck and they would still work.. they are that solid. These clips are more solid than any strap or tie down that I have used.
Which is good because I don't want to crash into the ground while doing push-ups on these.
Anyway - The clips are rock solid on this product.
Also - the rings are just a bit bigger and thicker than most rings ... which keeps your hands and wrists happy.

Conclusion
If you want good gym rings at a good price - these are a great option.

Don't listen to the negative reviews about the straps, people are just using them wrong. Make sure to feed the strap through the back of the buckle, not the front. If you feed from the front the only thing holding the teeth down on the strap is the spring tension from the buckle... they're not supposed to work like that. Feed it from the back and the harder you pull, the harder the teeth dig into the strap. My weight plus the weight belt puts up to 250lbs on the straps and the buckles don't slip, period. Great straps, great rings, great product.

I purchased these looking for a "cheap" pair of gymnastic rings (didn't want to pay $80 off of a crossfit site) that would hold up for use at my local gym. These are anything but cheap. I had the chance to break these in over the weekend, and my training partner and I are very pleased. The straps feel strong and the rings are solid. These shouldn't be any issue at all for a couple 180lb bruts. I'm going to add some tape to the rings for better grip. The straps are very long but that is never a bad thing. Clamps feel strong as well. Ring push ups and dips were handled with ease by this set. I'd recommend these to anyone that likes buying solid equipment at a cheap price.
