This is the best headphones ever.Much better than Creative EP360 and large bundle too: Neoprene carrying bag, three in-ear size adapters, jet-adapter. I used the neoprene bag to carry my Creative Muvo Tx Fm 1GB with the headphones. They fit my ear perfectly and cancel almost all background noise. Pros: Design, weight and build quality (very durable). Cons: No cons. Edit: After 5 years, I still use it everyday.

Well I've never heard the "bump" Andrew talks about, and I use these phones extensively. Perhaps it was a bad set? They have great sound. It is true that the right bud cord is longer than the left. They call that an asymmetrical design, where the right bud cord wraps behind the neck meaning the primary cord goes down the left side of the body rather than straight down the middle like even length symmetrical phones. This is said to prevent snagging of the cord. I'll admit it works for me.

I got these a year ago as a replacement for a similarly-priced pair of Sony earbuds that broke. They are my favorite earbuds I've used yet (though admittedly I've not tried anything much more expensive). They sound great! A coworker claims the sound is better than a pair of $150 Shures he tried. And they block outside noise so well that I use them to mow the lawn and at work when I have to cut or drill rock. The "bump" noise has not been a major issue for me. Added bonus: they come in black! I have a white pair right now, but will eventually order black ones so they don't turn brown. But there are a few things preventing me from giving them the coveted 5 stars. First, they slip out of my ears quite easily when I'm sweaty, so I'm often shoving them back in. This makes it near impossible to run in them (I do still use them on the exercise bike during the winter). Annoyingly, the cord is slightly too short sometimes. I'm 6'1, not too tall, but the cord still won't reach to the bottom of some of my jeans' pockets. So the weight of my Nano sometimes pulls the left ear out. If the cord were four inches longer, this problem would not exist. After a year, the rubber around where the cables go into the ear buds themselves is starting to fray and is certainly no longer the original color. Bottom line: I would recommend these earbuds highly if the problems I described don't apply to you- if you're shorter or can put the music player in a shirt pocket, and if you won't run with them. They reproduce music very accurately for the price, and I plan to buy them again when my current pair gets too grungy.
