Just to clear things up, this is the REAL DEAL, it is not a fake product as per one of the other reviews. You can go on [...] right now and see this wash being sold there for more money than here (2 8 oz. bottles) - I used to buy it from them, but will happily buy it here from Amazon now that I know they sell it too. This is indeed made with salicylic acid, NOT benzoyl peroxide like their other facial cleansers by ProActive. They are TWO DIFFERENT products, this is NOT a fake product or a knock off like the other review said. I have been using this for years, and it is the ONLY product that keeps my face clean and blemish free. No other product does that for me, including the entire ProActive line that is different than this wash. I have been through 3 different Isotretinoin treatments for severe acne, numerous antibiotics, numerous facial cremes and washes given to me by my dermatologist, and nothing has worked except for the Isotretinoin and this wonderful wonderful wash by ProActive (by the way, salicylic acid in the 2% strength is COMMONLY used by dermatologists to help clear acne up - which this product thankfully has! You don't even have to go see a dermatologist like I originally did to get a product with that particular strength of salicylic acid). I'm 30 years old too, have had acne since I was 13. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful product to everyone who struggles with acne!

I brought this product for my son and it work really well on his body acne. We have tried many product and this seems to be the best. I was not happy the the seller raised his price by $10 in one month...that a little much.

this is pretty expensive stuff. Been using it with no real results, for a few weeks. Maybe more time needed. We'll see.

I bought this product due to the good reviews & feedback from people on here, I would not recommend using it on its own it will do nothing for you, it actually irritated my skin more, I used it for 30 days & had no success! I kinda wasted $30 on this as I am not using the other Proactiv products which would probably help.

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT LAST JUNE FOR $23.00 NOW IT'S UP TO anywhere between 51.00 and 57.00 on Amazon. Not worth the ridiculous price increase. I've written to ProActiv but they never get back to me on the reason for increase in price.

I started going to a dermatologist for acne almost 15 years ago. I have still never found a product that will completely clear my skin and keep it clear. I have had some success with the proactive system. Initially i used the 3 piece set (renewing cleanser, revitalizing toner and repairing treatment) exactly to their instructions. My face cleared some but after 3 weeks i started to add on more products. First i added on the refining mask. I started using that 3 times a week and my face got significantly better but i was still getting breakouts. Finally I've added this product.

I like this product quite a bit. I find it to be very effective used in tandem with Neutrogena Oil Free Deep Clean Cream Cleanser, 7-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 3). I use both products in the shower, the deep cleansing wash first then the cream cleanser. The deep cleansing wash exfoliates and then i massage the cream cleanser in and it is able to go deep and clean out the pores. It even tingles and feels like it's working. Now my face is just about as clear as it has ever been. The only thing I've had more success with was a fairly painful facial that involved a steady low stream of electricity being applied to my face. If proactiv products hadn't cleared my face i was ready to go shell out the money to have my face zapped again.

The reason I cannot give this product 5 stars is because of pricing. I paid $28 dollars for this bottle. Now it's listed at $45 dollars!? If it doesn't come down before I need to order again i'm going to replace it with another salicylic acid exfoliator.

My partner and I use this. Great Price for the product and it works just as well as the facial treatments. In fact this is not only a body wash but a face was as well.

It Shipped on time and product works amazingly. The Bottle was plenty big enough and would recommend it to anyone.

Though it took about 2 weeks to work, the body wash cleared up and/or healed all of my chest and back acne. The scars are also diminishing thanks to the body wash keeping the acne at bay. I couldn't be happier with this product and recommend it to everyone with similar body acne issues.

Have been using Proactive for a while now, although I've never had acne like a lot of the people who've bought it, but I did get body acne and I've gone through millions of products for it and have only found one by Anna Sui which they stopped selling unfortunately. So I gave up for the longest and decide to finally try again, and by this time my back was scared so badly from the pimples, so I would say about a week and a half after I started using this I started to see and feel the difference in my skin, and now moths later my back is absolutely clear and smooth, all I have to do now is get rid of the scars. But I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has body acne.
