I have been using the Proactiv 3-step system for about a year now and I get acne very rarely now. I do not like the smell. Also, it took about a month to actually work. The 3-step system is very time consuming to apply, because, well there are 3-steps (4 if you use the refining mask) and to do this twice a day is a real hassle. But, if you stick to it, Proactiv really works!

The absolute best skin care on the market! The cleaser alone is amazing! Must use for at least 30 days before seeing dramatic results. (Make sure the lotion dries completely on your skin before touching fabrics- has a tendency to bleach.)

I really love Proactiv, and I have been using it for almost six years. I have cystic acne, and Proactiv keeps it at bay. I thought I would try out the new micro-crystal formula, and I must say it works very well. I wear a good bit of makeup every day, so I thought the 24oz deep cleansing wash with the pump would be just the thing to remove my makeup prior to using the Renewing Cleanser. The cleansing wash feels icy. Unfortunately, I ended up with a light chemical burn down the sides of my mouth after 2 weeks of use. I eased up on the amount of "focus" i give my mouth area, and the darkness caused by the burn is already fading. Strong stuff, but the rest of my face is spotless.
