Editorial Reviews

Review

"I obviously like this text. It is as previously stated, 'a great text.' The author's background is excellent and it is written in a manner likely to assist the reader with the stated purpose of learning." — Larry D. Andrews, Missouri Western State College

"I find Professor Abadinsky's book to be a very well-written, theoretically-informed overview of probation and parole in the United States. The book's z3-year endurance is an obvious testimonial to its merits as an introductory text." — Robert P. Weiss, SUNY-Plattsburgh

"The approach Abadinsky takes is great. I like the fact that he starts the text with a review-type chapter that reinforces what students should have learned in previous classes. I think his approach is very good and students will appreciate his candor." — Steve Christiansen, Green River Community College
