This review is from: Problem Solvers Centerlock Adaptor for 6" Rotors (Misc.)
Solidly built like any other Problem Solvers product, but this one has some serious design flaws. First, it's a bit tricky to get attached. You can see in the picture that the ring is open so you can clamp/unclamp the ring. The centerlock teeth are so small, it can be very fiddly to get attached. Not a huge deal, but something to note. The biggest problem is that no matter how steady or careful I was in installing it, I could not get it to lie down totally flat, and I think it has something to do with the clamping design. I don't think it's possible to get it totally flush. It's always off by a very tiny amount, and what this means, unfortunately, is that even with a small 160mm disc, your disc will wobble in the caliper so one side of the wheel will scrape the left brake pad, and the other will scrape the right. The larger your rotor, the greater the wobble. To complicate matters, you can't adjust the ring without removing all six bolts and the rotor because you can't get a wrench around the back.
Get the slightly more expensive Shimano version, which uses a lockring to attach the rotor so that it's pretty much guaranteed to be aligned: Shimano 6-Bolt Disc Adapter I've got this installed and the problem is MUCH improved; no wobble at all.
