4.0 out of 5 stars A good intro to case based learning, December 27, 2005
This review is from: Problem Solving in Physiology (Paperback)
As an undergraduate instructor teaching pre-professionals, I find this book to be a good starting place to approach case based learning. There are some shortcomings of the book (some advanced knowledge is required that is normally not present in undergrads), but if you are looking for a good theory into application text this is as good a starting place as any. I especially like the endocrinology questions as they are multi-system in nature and give a good overview of the complex nature of hormone/system communication.
