My professor chose this book for my consumer law class and I am glad she did. This book is very well written and interesting to read. I hope your professor chooses this book for your class because this is definitely a great book for a consumer law class.

More About the Author

Douglas Whaley is a Professor Emeritus at the Mortiz College of Law, The Ohio State University, from which he retired in 2004. His specialty is commercial law, for which he has writen seven casebooks (all published by Aspen Publishers), three Gilbert's Summaries of the Law, and recorded four lectures for the Sum and Substance CD Series. Whaley has been given nine awards for outstanding teaching from three different law schools.

After retiring from teaching, Whaley wrote a novel called "Imaginary Friend," which is an atheist thriller (new genre). He is immodestly proud of the novel, which is available on Amazon.com. Late in 2009 he started a blog after having a heart transplant(!); it can be found at http://douglaswhaley.blogspot.com/
