DECENT, Good Price
I loved the fact that this book is spiral bound. I am an FNP student and plan to take this into practice with me. I wish there were more photos, but for the price, who can complain. It is also about to need an update since this one came out in 2002. Very easy to read and understand, simple, and straight to the point.

Not Very Helpful
I am disappointed in this book as a descriptive text. It is based only on drawings. There are no photos of the actual procedures which would be far more helpful. Where a cigarette lighter and paper clip are used to release pressure under a nail doesn't instill confidence as an example. There are much better texts that are available. I'd advise buying one of those...

This book not only has procedures such as woundcare, suturing and taking out fishhooks, it also goes over ECG's, endoscopy, spirometry, legal considerations, billing, the list goes on and on... A definite must have for NP school, even if you are not required this text, get it. Another LifeSaver!
