destroyer,

probably one of my fav. bands. these guys are pretty much untouchable in the genre, with respect to nasum. this album was a must for my collection, carries the fine tradition of grind into the future. fans of cephalic carnage, nasum, pig destroyer blah blah blah just buy it

this is the toughest grind band I have ever listened to. there was a label on it stating that it was for fans of Napalm Death, Nasum, Aborted, and Pig Destroyer, but I believe that any metalhead can listen to this band. the songs on here are two minutes to three minutes in length, more to enjoy.

Death by a thousand crappy tracks!!,

Belgian self-proclaimed razorgrind band Leng Tch'e joins the roster on Relapse Records with this 2005 release "The Process Of Elimination".
Leng Tch'e a.k.a. death by a thousand cuts is apparently an ancient Chinese torture in which the victim has been doped up and cut into bits. Their music is just like that, because the majority of the tracks sound the same, its like one song has been cut into many tiny pieces. The Process of Elimination is pretty much your run of the mill grindcore stuff, 24 tracks and short songs mostly ranging from 1 to ½ minutes in typical grind fashion. The high pitched screams are nice, and almost remind me of golem with his balls cut off, "Glamourgirl Concubine" is a cool little ditty which has some grooving parts in it, and I did appreciate the puke-burp growl at the end of "The Fist Of Leng Tch'e"; but most of the re-hashed thrash-ish almost hardcore riffs bored me to a thousand pieces. Fans of typical grindcore will probably find this album worthwhile, but as for me and the rest of the people who like music with some talent, it's probably torture. 4/10
