5.0 out of 5 stars Read this CAREFULLY!!
I gave this CD five stars because I am from DFW and you gotta support your own. With that said here is the downfall:

Lyrics:

Step your game up!!! Talking about begin a baller is not something that I want to hear on every single song!!! They need to learn to stop using the easiest words to rhyme with and talk about more than just one subject,...

3.0 out of 5 stars Waste of Talent, they could of done better
Play n skills, they ok, dont get me wrong they have talent, they just havent figured out how to use it, they talk about the same stuff. They do got some good songs though like "Call Me" and "Latinos Stand Up", i feel i wasted my money though, i should of downloaded it 4 free.

I gave this CD five stars because I am from DFW and you gotta support your own. With that said here is the downfall:

Lyrics:

Step your game up!!! Talking about begin a baller is not something that I want to hear on every single song!!! They need to learn to stop using the easiest words to rhyme with and talk about more than just one subject, again, being a baller.

Beats:

The beats are nice, and maybe if they can't step up lyrically, STICK TO BEATS!! Now, some of them are nice, but, (don't get me wrong, I don't expect a sample on every single song) some of their beats sound like I could make them on my own on a Casio piano.

What upset me the most was that they didn't incorporate Chamillionaire the right way. He should be rhyming because he is the lyric King of the South, not doing hooks. What I did like though (and I have heard this song before it came out) was "Freaks" because it uses Krayzie Bone and Adina Howard in the right tones for the hook and the rhyme.

Next album they make, I hope that they have stepped up their lyrical game and use some of their guest artists to help them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow., January 15, 2006
This review is from: Process (Audio CD)
This CD is incredible. Since purchase I've been listening to it almost non stop. Nice colaborations include Chamillionaire, Akon, Lil Flip, Frankie J, Krayzie Bone, and Layzie Bone. Literally nearly every song on this album is hot. Club bangers like "Latinos Stand Up," "Let Em Go," and "Represent" nicely compliment the medidum to slow jams like "Call Me," and "Freaks."

My lone complaint would be that there are only 14 music traks (one skit), and that is kind of short for $14. However, even with that, I don't recommend missing out on this CD. Go buy it now and thank me later.

5.0 out of 5 stars Off the hook!!, October 22, 2005

This cd is more than good! All the songs on this cd are awesome, I love them all and to like an entire cd is kind of hard for me. Usually I 'll only like 3 or 4 but this cd is the exeption!....My favorite song has to be number 7 (call me)I can really jam to it. I bought the cd at a retail store and today I got a chance to meet the guys. They are so sweet and nice!!
People go out there and get the cd, you won't repent. As a D town resident I would like to say that I am so proud of Play N Skillz for putting Dallas on the map. People....Buy it!!!!
