5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Performance by Both Soloist and Band, October 23, 2000
By

Run! Don't walk to buy this cd! Doug Yeo brings his expertize with the Boston Symphony to England to perform with the world famous Black Dyke Brass Band. Doug Yeo is in top form and James Watson has whipped the Black Dyke Band into great shape. Superb performances by both band and soloist are presented on this cd. This cd can be greatly enjoyed by students of the bass trombone, brass band enthusiasts, classical music fans, and yes, even jazz fans will enjoy this as Doug and the band offer a few "big band" standards.

5.0 out of 5 stars Meaningful Impact, February 4, 2002
This review is from: Proclamation (Audio CD)
I may be biased - I know Douglas Yeo. He was my HS band instructor years ago. He's come a long way baby! When I listen to this CD, the quality and diversity of the music affects my life in a very personal way. It makes a connection with the significance of each moment (each beat) of my life. When I'm a little down, I use this cd as an inspiration - knowing that each part of life has a purpose and meaning. And all in life will somehow become whole. Bless this man. Bless this music. ENJOY!!!!
