Pros:
1) You can use these with or without the "broom" for which they are made to attach.
2) If you use the "broom", they are easy to attach and detach
3) They are fairly inexpensive for the quantity that come in the box and the amount of use you'll get from them
4) They pick up dust particles that you can't even see (try it yourself and see what I'm talking about!)

Cons:
1) They are effective on most surfaces *except* I have noticed that they tend to get snagged on rough surfaces such as unsanded wood and my stone fireplace
2) They work nicely on my parque (however that's spelled!), wood & tile floor areas, *except* if there is grit on the floor (ex. in the winter, the front hall ends up with salt and grit from the outside walkway). In this case, it is much better to sweep first.

These dust cloths have made a big difference in the amount of time it takes me to dust my house and the effectiveness of the job I do. The only product that beats these is the new "Swiffer Dusters", which are unfortunately not available here on Amazon at the time I wrote this review. They get into tight spaces that your mop and fingers can't reach, work on ALL surfaces, and literally pick up EVERYTHING. Try to find them if you can!

I love swiffers but you can buy these in any drugstore OR at CVS.com for 4.99 - !

I love these things. They allow you to mop without all the mess! I highly suggest these.
