Very dissapointed with this purchase. My last handheld mixer lasted more than 20 years and I had to replace it when the beaters fell apart. This one's motor went out the second time I used it. Spend a few more dollars and buy a quality product.

Pleasant performance for 3 months and then KAPUT!,

This worked well for a few months and then it died...It seemed like a good product, but only at first. I would recommend spending a bit more to get better quality. Disappointing at best.

This is a light, easy to use hand mixer that even rests on the side of the bowl should it be too heavy to hold, but it's not. I got it because I like the weight and the nicely designed controls, and I use it for things like whipping egg whites, cream, etc. I don't want to drag my big mixer out for.I use my Mixmaster for larger jobs, and mix cookie dough, brownies or bread dough with a spoon. If you want a hand mixer to do the job of a stand mixer, though, get a heavy duty one. If you want it to knead dough or do heavy cookie dough, get one of those $300 stand mixers lol!

This thing BROKE after I had it a month and used it **maybe** 4 times. The motor gave out. It just quit spinning. It was 2 days before Thanksgiving and I had to run over to my mom's house to borrow her 1975 GE hand mixer that she got as a wedding present over 30 years ago. It mixed what this mixer couldn't and its STILL working today. They sure don't make em like they used to!

I've been used it for a year and a half. It is still very robust and never has any problem. Although I can't say it's better than any other hand mixer as this is the only one I've used, but overall I'm pretty content about it.

After we used approximately ten times it stopped turning and started making popping noises and smoking. If you buy one, you'll want to keep a fire extinguisher handy while using it.

Love this mixer. My last Proctor Silex 5 speed lasted over ten years, and I used it a lot. It may have lasted longer (the motor never ran out), but I needed new beaters. The newer version is just as good. Lightweight compared to some of those others out there and no splatters.

I've spent more money on hand mixers in the past and have learned that the price you pay for the mixer doesn't always reflect the quality of the product. I was a little worried when I bought this hoping it could handle some tough mixing jobs, but it did a great job. If your looking for a reliable mixer, I would recommend this one. Only downside is that it does not come with any other attachments like a wisk for example. For this price though, Its a good deal.

I needed a small hand mixer for cake mixes, egg white and small items. Perfect for the job! Very pleased!
