I purchased this book for an upcoming position I was looking to get. I wanted a book that explain in detail but to where a person who knew nothing about procurement could understand. This book went over the different tasks a procurement manager would face and shared different resources that could help with completed the tasks. I skipped a few sections because it didn't pertain to my specific position. Overall I enjoyed the book and would recommend it to others.

When there have been so many changes in today's supply environment, this is an excellent reference when a quick review of supply chain or procurement process is needed! Very detailed but easy to read.

Absolutely essential book for Procurement and Supply Management practitioners by the practitioners. This is a must read for everyone in my staff.

No doubt about essentials for procurement, need more direct aproach to Europe's best practices.
