This is one great bike...lots of power and so much fun. My boyfriend has MS and can't really do too much
pedaling. He loves this bike and loves the power and battery life. We recommend it to anyone who wants
to reduce the pedaling, but still have all the fun!

This bike was a disaster from the start. It wouldn't start. Took it to a prodeco dealer in sarasota and he couldn't start it either. The dealer blamed amazon. This dealer took it to a trade show were the the prodeco manufacturer was and said front fork was on back words. Now that took two weeks. Then within 2 weeks had 4 flat tires. Being stranded after a flat is no fun.5th week just stopped working while out riding. Brought back to dealer. The battery was seated on a platform over back tire, then slides into plug. Well plug broke while putting bike in car. Why, because bracket battery sat on was defective base and would never slide flat. I told this to dealer . Response was it's hard at first but will losen up in time.Call manufacturer direct. They will sent new platform and replace plug. But the bike still had problem It stopped working. Dealer thought it the motor burnt out. While after 2 1/2 weeks. Picked up bike. It wasn't the motor .It was a broken connection. Anyway end results, Dealers are not knowdgeable, manufacturer blames amazon on damaged goods from shipping and I am stuck with a $1300 bill for an item I'm afraid to use.

I had the Prodecotech Genesis bike 1 1/2 years but only road it about 10 different times. The last time I got on it to ride the battery was dead. I tried to charge it with no luck. I took the battery back and they said it was not under warranty because it got wet. How it got wet is a mistery. I never road it in the rain and it was parked in my house. Well it has been 3 to 4 months now fighting with them about the battery and now they don't return my calls anymore. I guess I am not only out of a battery but also out the charger that they have of mine. I guess they have alot of time on there hands because the next place this is going is small claims court. I'll let everyone know the results!

I bought my Stride more than a year ago. After installing a Thule Front rack and panniers, it has become my electric cargo bike. I consistently carry 50+ pounds on the front end (which balances out the rear battery nicely). I have had some parts issues. I had a broken seat which Prodeco replaced with a better seat at no charge. Just recently, my kickstand snapped off at the welds on the frame. I sent Prodeco pictures and they sent me an entirely new frame at no charge. They also sent me the newly designed battery struts as mine were showing wear. I'm sure the newer models are even better as the components are higher quality, but I'm glad I didn't wait, as I have had a blast riding everywhere - to the point that my car battery keeps going dead from non-use.
