4.0 out of 5 stars little girls love kitten stories, December 1, 2007
This review is from: Prodigal Cat (Classic Children's Story) (Paperback)
My 7yr old found a tattered copy of this book at the library and read it cover to cover twice. Ever since she has asked to check this out again and again and finally has asked for a copy of her own. Most copies in stores are the abridged version that are part of Okes' animal stories series. Look for ISBN 0934998191 to be sure you are getting the original unabridged book with all of the exciting adventures of the cat.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not the real one.., October 16, 2006
Still a nice story, but I didn't realise I was not buying the real one. This is the "abridged version" for younger ones
