Format: Paperback
Marty Clayton Banfield had the unction, as long as I know, to do a book. A couple of years ago she had an idea of what the book would be about. But It wasn't to be a reality until this fall. Now, even I got to see the "REAL" proof of the book that she has put out there for circulation. I had the opportunity to "hold" it my hand, what a wonderful moment that was, to see her succeed in seeing that First book of many to be published. Not mention what a great Read. You will catch yourself snickering a little at some of the occurrences she had chosen to write about. You might also be amazed at some of the History that is in the book. What most our generation failed to do, was leave a legacy of some sort behind for our children to be able read and relate to how it was when their grandparents and moms and dads lived in the world back in their day. MY Grandparents hey day was the 1920-40's, my mom and dad's were 1946 - 1980's , mine was 1970's-2005 and so forth. That art of sitting down and writing about life in our era, or other generations has been lost. Which why this book was written. Great job Marty, JL Banfield Staff Writer Low Country Light Magazine, Bamberg, Sc.
