About the Author

Pastor V. Ricardo Thomas is the Senior Pastor of Faith Tabernacle Church in Highland Park, Michigan. Pastor Thomas is a certified Biblical Counselor by Christian Research and Development of Philadelphia. Pastor Thomas is an instructor of Biblical Counseling to Pastors, church members, and professionals. He believes showing people how biblical principals can bring about change, give hope and solve problems in their relationships, marriages, families and lives. Pastor Thomas servs on the Board of Directors of the Highland Park Business Association and is the Chairman of the Highland Park Homeowners Collaborative. He serves on these organizations to help make a difference so that Highland Park becomes a better place to live, work and do busines. He speaks at conventions, seminars and conferences locally, nationally and internationally. Pastor Thomas is married to Cynthia Thomas. He is the father of five children and grandfather to two.

I was held captive by the Prodigal Son by V. Ricardo Thomas. I could not put the book down until I finished. I was caught up in the all the dramatic and emotional twists and turns of the life of the author. When I finished reading the book, I knew for sure that you can never go too far to be out of God's reach. I was inspired and encouraged. This book is a must read for anyone who needs to be reminded that there is hope in God's grace and love.

B-Starr Review: If there was a 10star rating - I would have given this book that rating. Never was I touched so deeply in my spirit reviewing a book. This autobiography explains the true purpose of our trials and tribulations, our failures and our triumphs. When your finish reading this title, you will choose Jesus as your personal savior. You can't put this book down, I read it in less than 24 hours. I truly recommend this title to anyone seeking peace, salvation and redemption. You will see the love of God and His forgiveness in every paragraph.

Pastor Thomas, leaves no stone unturned. He is honest and his testimony is different from any other I have heard or read. You walk with him through his entire life, perhaps you have not done some of the things that he has, but you will see yourself somewhere in this book. Thank you Pastor Thomas.

What I loved most about this book is that it wasn't your average Christian title, it was raw and real life in your face. Pastor, you have a true mission and this book is only a beginning, there are so many people suffering from life in general and they want freedom and you have written a small paperback book filled with more inspiration rather than a book full of damnation. God Bless You and your ministry.

The Prodigal Son is captivating and mesmeric. I couldn't put it down once started. It captures the very essence of life's center; the lust of the eye, flesh and pride of life. It demonstrates the deception of pleasure taking life's spiral downward. It definitely defends my belief/faith that there is hope for the hopeless, comfort, restoration, and that the searching does end...and end with the best of riches.
