This review is from: Product Design (Design toolkits) (Paperback)
i've noticed that the older books get (date of publishing), the more information they seem to have. this book is a prime example.A lot of books about design theory and process just dabble around, trying to fill 300 pages with stuff you could read in a magazine article. The author knows what he is talking about and thoroughly explains everything, with diagrams, illustrations, charts etc. i.e. REAL, USEFUL, INFORMATION, not another sermon from someone trying to unlock the 'secrets of innovation' by sharing 'new ways of thinking'. This book proposes, explains and proves that a carefully planned and executed process makes for best selling products. |
