Lots of Laughs!!!, September 20, 2004
This review is from: Walt Disney Productions presents Goofy minds the house (Disney's wonderful world of reading ; 31) (Unbound)
So here we have Goofy and his wife arguing about who works the hardest, and in the exchange, they "swap" for a day, and he takes over the household chores, and she goes into the field to work. Of course the story focuses on Goofy's antics, as well as his son's observation of his dad trying to put it all together.
We see Goofy going from one extreme to another, especially as it relates to sweeping the floor, doing the laundry, cooking the meals, and the sundry kind of chores his wife does without a thought. But the difference is - Goofy makes a mess, and when it gets out of hand, the line is "I'll fix it-just wait," which means that it gets worse.
In the end, there are no more arguments, especially when his wife comes to save the day as she sees the cow hanging outside the chimney and a yard of soap suds from the laundry which have suddenly appeared outside.
This is a laughable book and very entertaining, and it's also highly recommended (especially if you're a Goofy fan)!!!
