This replacement filter is VERY cheaply made compared to the original Holmes filter. The plastic on this replacement is noticibly flimsier than the Holmes, the front of the filter is protected by a clear plastic mesh instead of a metal one, and most importantly it fits much looser than the original, making for a poorer seal and more leakage of air around the filter.

For the $10 you save with this, you get dirtier air. It's not worth it.
