This napkin holder is nicer looking and more substantial in real life than it appears in the photo. The base has a slight curve to it so the napkins don't scoot around, and the arm piece holds them in place nicely with a well-made hinge. Little rubber feet help the holder stay in place on a table or counter. I use regular size napkins in it, which leaves the edges clearly visible; I think it would hold larger dinner napkins just fine. Much better than the stand-up holders that allows the napkins to flop. It's great for everyday use and it looked great for my holiday buffet, too.

I did a lot of research on napkin holders, and came across this one. Thought I would give it a try, and am glad I did. Other napkin holder that hold the napkins upright tend to allow the napkins to flop over and curl. Not a problem with this. The weight is heavy enough to keep napkins in place, but easy enough to slide them right out one at a time. The black design is appealing. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it takes up a bit of room on the table. But the larger size would allow for the larger napkins that they sell at the stores instead of just the standard every day type of napkins.

This holder looks great on my new granite countertop. Contemporary, sturdy and actually holds the napkins in place nicely. I looked all over for a black, contemporary napkin holder that set flat rather than standing up. This is just what I was looking for!

I'm really glad that I went with this napkin holder. I was a little bit skeptical because some reviews stated that it was so big. Also, I was concerned about the napkins getting caught on the edges, especially the edge of the curve that keeps the napkins down. None of these things were issues so get it, I love it and have received tons of compliments on it.

As far as size I'd say that maybe there's about an inch around the stack of napkins, and that's being generous. The lever sits nicely on top. I take napkins out one handed every day for dinner without any problems. The stack of napkins never moves and the napkins never catch. The only time I needed my other hand to catch the napkins was when my stack got low and there were like 4 napkins left and I was taking two off. It doesn't slide around and looks great on my counter. Functional and looks great.

I had been looking for a napkin holder I liked for some timeand when I found this one I was delighted, it is stylish, holds the napkins well and suits a variety of napkin sizes. I read other reviews before buying this and thought that it was quite big but I do have some large serviettes that I have to put them on an angle to make them fit, so they hang over, but because of its style you have the freedom to do this. It really isn't as big as other reviews make it out to be.

I bought this napkin holder on the strength of it's reviews primarily, and the overall functionality. I can't say I've been disappointed. It is large enough to handle nearly any paper napkin, it has rubber feet keep it from sliding, and the arm is heavy enough to keep napkins from blowing away, but not enough to make them difficult to slip out. On a less positive note, I never really liked the way it looked (Which I knew before I bought it, so it doesn't affect my star rating) and it bends the napkins in the middle because it's bowl shaped (I guess it's supposed to make them easier to grab? It looks a bit silly to me).

Given that both of my complaints are aesthetic, you can easily see whether they affect you or not. Based on function alone, this holder is quite well designed.

Sturdy, has little rubber ball feet to protect your table, has rubber coatings on the eight corner prongs. Weighty enough to not slip around. Easily take one or two napkins without whole pile coming out from under the top weight. Can hold napkins larger than the regular sized paper napkins I have in it. Holds a good sized pile too - I have about a 4" stack in it, it could hold a bit more. Good design and well made. I love it.

I'm a fan of holders that keep the napkins horizontally. The size is good; holds regular size napkins but could also handle dinner size as well. Arm keeps napkins in place but you can pull out one with one hand without disturbing the others. Rubber feet keep it from sliding across the table when you pull a napkin out, and it doesn't scratch my glass table top. A little more stylish than the basic ones I found in stores. Recommended.

Very simple and nice design. I take it from the kitchen table to the patio as the little arm is great for breezy days. Nice rubber feet on the bottom keep it from moving or scratching.

I like it. It is decent looking, but has a footprint on the table. there are may be better options in terms of space. but it works for us. easy for kids to get napkins out.
