Amistades' Rules, May 28, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Profecia (Audio CD)
Along with Miguel Bose, this male/female duo has to be one of the greatest singers deriving from Spain. They have a style of their own, and although their music is not mainstream it is something that should not be missed by people who aren't afraid to try new, different music. I believe this is their second of four musical masterpieces and with each new one they incredibly manage to surprise me, for their music is different from their previous albums, they still surprise me with their new music and and how their voices easily adapt to it without causing vocal discord. Compared with Mexico's "Sentidos Opuestos," Amistades Peligrosas do not limit themselves to singing about boy/girl relationships and concepts that include the everlasting cliche of "love." Amistades Peligrosas, if you listen to all four of their Cds, range from singing about Spain's prejudice towards African immigrants, war, Jesus' crucification, conflicts in relationships, Satan, and women's plea for liberation. I was anticipating a fifth cd, but sadly I heard rumors that they will no longer record. Too bad, their music and voices combine to make relaxing music.

Different and Enigmatic, December 4, 2001
This review is from: Profecia (Audio CD)
I like the style they used in most of their songs specially "Me Quedare Solo".I love this song. The lyrics are so cool and enigmatic. It makes me feel many things at the same time, few songs can cause me this strange reaction.I love it so much. The voices are so strong and beautiful.I recommend this Soundtrack to everyone.I didn't even know the real title of the soundtrack,I fell so much in love with that song that I thought that was its real name.Anyway, you'll love it as soon as u hear the first song,I guarantee it.

Me gustan "Me quedare solo", "El Principe Valiente", "Sera", "Angelus" y "Bendita Seas". "Sera" es bonita y erotica con efecto de la letra y la voz de Cristina. Por supuesto, la voz unica de Alberto es inolvidable. Os lo recomiendo!
