Product Description

This Roach Control Kit is perfect for small roach control problems in homes and apartments. This professional kit includes 2 x 30 gram tubes of Advion Roach Bait Gel--one of the best roach baits on the market. Advion contains a slow-acting poison that attracts and kills feeding roaches, who also spread the bait to other roaches by contact or by sharing food. Plus, 10 Gentrol Point Source stations provide an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) that will stop roaches from laying eggs, helping to halt the infestation. The combination of an IGR with roach bait is a highly effective roach control strategy that is widely used by pest control professionals. This Roach Control Kit is perfect for light to moderate roach infestations in houses or apartments. SEE LABEL FOR FULL DIRECTIONS Gentrol Point Source is a special Roach control device that contains the Gentrol Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) hydroprene for 90-day control of roaches. Activating Gentrol Point Source is as simple as squeezing the raised end of the plastic, adhesive-back device. This releases Gentrol IGR onto a filter paper. From there, it moves up to 75 square feet. That way pests never need to come in contact with the device. One to two weeks after application, you will begin to see roaches with crinkled wings, showing the initial effects of the IGR. These roaches cannot reproduce. All the benefits of an insect growth regulator in a discreet, non-spray formulation. 10 units.

Excellent product works great....I added the Demon WP.

I find placing it by the sink, coffee pot, corners, baseboards, dishwasher, fridge and stove are the best places.

We moved into our first rental house over four years ago and either the house, or a stove we bought had some extra guests in it. We have battled these little beasts ever since. At first it was managable but after not having a hard freeze and having four messy pre-schoolers... they were taking over. I had visions of the roach army carrying us off into the night, it was that bad. We tried borax, spetricide, D.E. powder, borax and sugar mixture, bleach, more bleach, hot shot, raid, foggers, praying to Korean Jesus and every other Jesus. It was so bad, we couldn't have people over and where we had actual conversations on how much it would be to throw everything away and start over. I was reading online for about the 400th time and found out these products were recommended by a bug guy. At this point we are beyond desperate. I ordered the product on a Wednesday and literally stalked the USPS website every hour to see where it was. It got here on that Friday and I went in the kitchen, cleaned every speck of food, crumb, drop of water etc off the floor, walls, cabinets and baseboards, I told the family they were eating out and the kitchen was CLOSED! I might have gone a little nuts, but I wanted this army of invaders to eat nothing but bait. I used a tube and a half in my kitchen... maybe a little excessive but there was like a whole continent full of roaches in there!! I actually sealed some of the crevices with bait knowing they were still in there, screaming "Eat your way out and die!" Ok,so I might have gone a little overboard with the maniacal laughing, and dreams of dead roaches all lined up on my floor awaiting a mass grave... I literally got up every hour and was inspecting every surface hoping for carnage. I was so disappointed.Read more ›

Just put one tube of the gel out last night and several of the regulators. Woke up this morning to a floor full of dead roaches. I am very pleased as to how well, and how quickly this kit seems to be working. I highly recommend giving this a try if you have a roach problem.

Thanks to new neighbors, I've been battling German Cockroaches for the last 3 months. The exterminator has come out twice with some success, but hasn't been able to eliminate new hatchlings.

The day after using the gel and discs, I saw a couple baby roaches the next day who appeared to be dying. There have been new batches of babies since then, which is always the problem with german roaches, but their numbers don't seem to be rapidly increasing like it did days after the exterminator treated.

This kit is the perfect size for a medium to small sized house (especially if you're only treating a few areas like the kitchen and bathroom).

Overall, it's not the magical instant cure for German Roaches, but it is slowly doing the job better than the exterminator, it's less than half the price, and I have plenty left over for repeat treatments. Since the problem is unhatched roaches, even bug bombing the house won't do better than this method. It really don't get any better, or cheaper for that matter, so I would highly recommend getting this set.

So initially it looked like it (Advion) was working. The number of cock roaches went down, then on day 6 they shot back up.

I went to reapply and it was interesting to see how the roaches would run away from it this time. I ended up having some fun by drawing cicles around some roaches (with the gel) and they would keep turning. I think I can used it as a way to put a border around something.

I think it work you just need to get them to eat it.

On to the next thing to try....

Recently began seeing ugly German Roaches running around my kitchen and bathroom. Knew these can be hard to get rid of, especially German ones, so went online to find effective treatment. Advion and Gentrol were highly spoken of online, so ordered this kit. Applied small dabs of Advion in cracks leading to dark places under cabinets and appliances, and in cabinet corners. The morning after application found many dead roaches all over the kitchen floor. In the coming days found many more dead baby roaches when eggs later hatched. Now haven't seen any trace of the critters for many days.

It worked! The bait I bought locally seemed to have no effect. It was very easy to use and my pet birds stayed safe.

We applied the Advion as soon as we received it and we saw results by the following morning. For days and days I was constantly cleaning up dead and dying roaches. You could tell they had ingested the Advion just by watching the way they couldn't hold onto the walls or they'd walk really slow. Its way too early to tell if the Gentrol is working yet but as soon as I see some mutated bugs, I'll update my review.

ordered this back in june '12, after struggling thru winter and spring with, not the worst roach infestation i've seen, but bad enough, considering I've never personally had one before. small house, i figured this would be good enough for the moment, to see if it worked, needless to say your usual store-bought products didn't- killed them on contact only, it seemed. got this kit, placed it out, & saw a fast drop in the number of roaches seen, didn't ever see them eating any, indeed, the bait in places appears untouched unlike some of the reviews i've seen describing hordes of roaches gobbling up the stuff and being found in droves in the morning. for me, just a discontinuation of seeing roaches at all.

well, it's nearly december '12 now, and for me, anyway, this has appeared to work. with cold weather returning i've been worried of a resurgence of the little cretins, but so far house appears to be clear- or, at any rate, i've seen no evidence of them, after things had been bad enough they were coming out in daylight- perhaps overpopulation coincided with my application of the kit, but still i've been satisfied enough to consider ordering another as a prophylactic.

my only complaint would be with the growth inhibitor discs, the self-adhesive backing to place them vertically doesn't last long at all, after maybe a month you'll be finding them fallen down all over the place, so i'd use something else or just lay them flat, they won't stay up so why bother. other than that i've been happy.
