Let me start by saying, I always rate things based on what it is...meaning I don't expect a $40 bag to be as good as a $200 bag. It can be, but not typically. I rate on if a $40 bag is the best $40 bag it can be...and then some. In this case, I feel like I got much value than I paid for. There may be bags with a little more padding, or bigger zippers, but none will beat the value of this thing. This has the exact same layout as many of the big boys for a small fraction of the price. It has room for camera gear in the main compartment, front opening, side opening, room for misc. stuff in the top, 2 easily accessible small compartments, space for a medium sized laptop (my 15" MacBook Pro fits nicely), and a rain jacket. The nylon is sturdy, and the zippers seem strong yet work easily.

Here are my notes to point out:

1. Be cautious of any bag with a side compartment to your camera equipment. I am not used to having 2 openings to my stuff, and forgot to close the side one when I went to pick up the bag. Let's just say it was an expensive mistake. This is no fault or ding on the bag...true of any bag like this. Just an fyi.

2. Due to the size of the bag (height), the lower strap that goes around me, is right at my stomach. For me, it's awkward, and I don't like straps around my stomach. I prefer them like a seatbelt that would go around the hips. Again, no fault of the bag...just something to note due to the height of the bag. A bag that was long enough to go to your waste, would also be much heavier, as it would hold more gear. I just choose not attach the lower strap. I do just the chest strap.

3. The dividers don't go all the way up to the flap when it's closed. There is some space there.

I have a Nikon DSLR, four lens, numerous filters, remotes, media, cleaning supplies, etc. and it all fits in this bag perfectly. Quality, sturdy materials, quality zipper and velcro closures. Lots of small compartments for those small items we all have. The price was great compared to so many name brand camera bags. I researched and shopped on Amazon for months looking for a bag with so many compartments and the 'side access' to my camera, as well as attachment for my tripod. This bag had it all at a fantastic price.
I recommend it highly. I have a smaller, less expensive bag I take on short hiking trips, etc. but this Professional DSLR bag goes with me on trips, and stays packed and ready 24/7.

I have my bag packed with one of my Canon bodies that has a Tamaron 18-200 lens attached through the side access flap, for my go-to camera setup. In the main compartment, I have an EFS 18-55 lens with three removable extension tubes attached, a 75-300 with a 2X tele-converter attached, 7000D flash unit with a batteries in a Crown Royal Regal bag under the flash unit. In the pouches on the main flap I have lens adapters, Cokin filter holder also body and rear lens covers along with a couple of a few lens clothes and tissues. In the front, small flap, I have my business cards, CF and SD cards. In the small side pocket on the outside, I keep my battery charger (both AC and DC) for the camera battery.

In the top compartment, I keep my Cokin filters in a 10 slot box, my Polaroid Macro flash, Oppilas Remote in a small neoprene bag with its batteries that are out of the units, a Pentax magnified viewer (for precision focusing) an Adorama lens maintenance bag with lens cleaning supplies and extra AA batteries for my main flash. I still have a little more room, in the top compartment for odds and ends or my power supply for the laptop. In side pouches in the top compartment are used for the rain cover and the other is used for a small table tripod. In the top flap, on the inside of the top compartment, I keep my note pads and some more lens cleaning cloths. On the side, I have a Slik Tripod and a Platinum Plus mono-pod, strapped in and seated in the pocket with the draw-string tightened.

I carry a Compaq 15" laptop in the side zippered compartment but it is a little tight, with the height of this old computer still operating on WinXP. Normally I have a separate bag for my computer equipment, so it does not bother me.

This is the bag I have been looking for. For the price the quality is better than I expected; I expect it to last for a very long time with my casual use. It was a bit smaller that I expected from the photos and description but actually just what I had hoped to find; it holds everything I have with room to grow but it is still compact.

I have my DSLR, two lenses and a macro adaptor, second pocket camera, two chargers in the camera compartment. There is still loads of room for filters, diopters, cleaning stuff, and just about anything else you might was to carry. The adjustable compartments should hold up well with regular use. The top and side compartments are perfect for lots of little items and there are little zipper/mesh pockets everywhere. I can also get a netbook, charger, mouse, and small computer items in the thin pocket in the back. The side access for the camera is also great. There are plenty of handles and very nice shoulder/waist straps that can be tucked away out of sight. My only minor disappointment is the single strap on the back for a tripod. I have a large Manfrotto and I could probably tie it on but a single tie point isn't really enough for a large unit like this.
