Too Slow and Too Cautious (?),

This product requires almost 2 minutes to calibrate. In addition we believe it "errors" on the high side. While this may be the better direction to error it really does not give you much confidence in the device. We have experimented with it a number of times with respect to our weight, the length of time between drinks, meals, etc. and each time we felt the readings were far too high based on the BAC tables. Frankly with the readings from this device we would never be able to have a drink with meals when we are not at home and/or planning to drive ! It is possible that we are not following the protocol for testing close enough in which case that is too demanding to make it worth your while. Checking your state BAC charts and tracking your drinks against your weight/meal and time factors would be easier and better so long as you error on the safe side of the charts.
