I ordered this while I was in Iraq because my face was getting torn up by regular razors. It worked wonderfully when I received it, and here we are, almost two years later, it survived the desert, the move back home and is still working like it is brand new. Great product

This is not a true cord-cordless trimmer. The cord does not connect to the electrical outlet, but to the base of the cordless charger. i.e., you do not get the running power of the corded trimmers.
I used it to dry shave. so do not know how it perform on other uses. I ended up with a Styler M3, which is much more powerful and effective.

Let me start by saying that I have a beard for over 30 years. I've had many trimmers over the years and this is by far the best. This is a beard and mustache trimmer, not an electric shaver. I trim my b & m every week and the 2 blades and 4 combs do an incredible job. I can adjust thickness and outline like I'm a professional. This is a cordless unit and I can get 3 full trims and leave it in the vanity draw before needing a charge. I also find this unit to be very powerful to handle my thick beard. This was recommended by my barber who uses the same model but he keeps his in charger when not in use. Buy it and learn how to use it and you won't be sorry. I have this trimmer for about 1 year.

I bought this trimmer because the Panasonic ER-121 (which I own)was no longer available.
What a disappointment! It won't hold a charge when left off the charger over night. The power switch
has no positive lock and is constantly getting shut off during use. The trimmer only has acceptable power if the cord is attached. If you need a cordless trimmer look elsewhere.
