This is one of the best digital photography books that I have read. It is clear, concise and comprehensive.

This book is a perfect guide for anyone looking to begin digital photography.

Several photographers images were included in the book. It is refreshing to see images from more than just the author.

This book is a great book. Once again, Patrick walks you through the digital aspect of digital photography for weddings & portraits. This is a great book for someone who is considering going digital. It is also a great book for someone who has already made the leap into digital because Patrick explains things in such a way that everyone can understand. I have been shooting digital for over a year now and I found this book to be very helpful. It explained alot of things for me. It clarified things that I was confused on.

I have read all of Patrick Rice's books. And I highly recommend all professional photographers do the same. Patrick has won many awards for his work. We could all learn something from him.

As the author of this book, I wanted to create a easy to read, easy to understand guide for anyone considering digital portrait or wedding photography.

Digital imaging technology is described at length. There is probably more information here than you will ever need, but I would rather have too much instead of too little.

The book is illustrated with images of my own as well as several award-winning professional photographers.

As a professional photographer just moving into digital photography, I found this book very helpful. The author explains digital imaging, cameras, CF cards, and everything elde you need to know about converting to digital from film. The images are really nice and I know this will be an invaluable guide for many photographers.

This book is okay for giving suggestions, not really a teaching book. This is for those who already have an idea of what they are doing.

THIS BOOK PROVIDES THE INFORMATION YOU NEED TO SELECT EQUIPMENT AND EVERYTHING THERE AFTER. I FOUND IT TO BE VERY USEFUL IN ALOT OF AREAS THAT I WAS UNSURE OF. AFTER READING THIS BOOK I CAN HONESTLY SAY I HAVE LEARNED ALOT!!!!

This is a book about why digital is better with perspectives from several people. It is not about digital photography techniques used for weddings or portraits. I found no usefull information for me in this book!

It does have a few nice photos in it but overall I found it to be a total waste of my money. If you think you may want this book, make sure you take a look at it at your local book store before buying it.
