Not the Greatest Book,

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with this book. I am generally used to books actually conveying information. This book, however, only asks you questions and really does not give you any answers. Unfortunately, I was required to use it for my class. I strongly advise that you just study from a treatise or the rules themselves--this book is not of any substantive value. However, I did like the fact that it provided a hypothetical for each section and then worked you through it.

I don't like the way the text is set-up; problem-->questions-->actual material. That said, if your prof. for Professional Responsibility requires this book, it's fine.

This is one of the most poorly put together casebooks that I have ever used, which is very disconcerting considering that Legal Ethics is a mandatory course in nearly every American law school.
The book utilizes an overall problem to illustrate a large legal topic supplemented by smaller questions that relate to that overall problem. However, the author never provides any answers to the questions or the problem. Instead, he inserts extremely edited cases or case summaries after the question, some of which do not even attempt to answer the questions. Sadly, if your professor chooses to use this book there isn't much you can do. I'd recommend not buying the book and using a commercial outline instead. For the price and the very little knowledge it actually conveys, this book is not worth purchasing.

fair quality. I expected a better quality book, but it was adequately represented. More used than I expected for the description.

I don't know if the seller was responsible for the pornographic and just plain stupid drawings in this book, but such drawings of male genitalia and comments were not disclosed prior to my purchase. I seriously hope that whomever thought that such drawings will never pass a bar exam in any state.
