I would recommend this book if you are studying for the RHIT or RHIA test. I took the RHIT test and passed!! I found the book and the cd to be very useful in my studies. It helped me to identify what areas I needed to study more and what areas were my strengths.

The review guide allows you to practice your test taking skills as well as providing a host of sample questions to cover all aspects of the RHIA and RHIT exams. It has given me insight into the area(s) that I need to focus more on. Having the answers and some explanations after each topic is very helpful. All of the questions provide a reference from which it was derived. The book also comes with a CD which also helps in preparation for the accreditation exams.

No matter how prepared you may be, this guide is a must have for those studying to complete their Associates/Bachelors Degree in HIT or HIM. This book supports the review guide needed to complete the AHIMA RHIT/RHIA certification exam. I wouldn't take the exam(s) without it!

If you can pass this review, the RHIA is no problem. Don't overstudy. The actually exam is not as hard as this review. You only need to score a 66% for a change!

I studied this book so much pages were coming out. The cd-rom was also helpful. I passed the exam and I am now a credentialed Registered Health Information Management Administrator, this book was a life-saver!
