I bought this item to solve a problem - my dog's separation anxiety is so bad she has chewed and rammed her way out of multiple other crates. This crate is sturdy enough where she hasn't broken out.

Working as an animal care technician, I knew exactly what I was looking for when I purchased the item and on the most basic levels this is what I ordered a dog kennel, but other than that this is a very subpar item. Even though this kennel it made out of very sturdy materials once it is put together the joints are extremely loose. There were on assembly instructions which made putting it together extremely difficult.

The supplier/seller of this product, Pampered Pets and Home Products, is terrible. Even though they were aware that the item that I ordered was out of stock they still allowed me to order it. Twice I had to contact them to find out when I may receive my items since they do not supply an order tracking number. Each time I contacted the supplier I was given a different date or a different reason why my item was late. It took one month to receive my items even though the estimated delivery date was between one to two weeks. After I received my kennel, it was not what I ordered. I ordered the silver finish but received the black. If you do choose to order this kennel DO NOT order it from this supplier.

i have a beagle German Shepard mix who has problems with being left alone and after 3 cages it was time to break out the big dog cage. this thing would house a wolverine without problems. its expensive but extreme circumstances call for extreme measures.
