I am a quasi-professional nature photography, i.e., every once in a while I sell a photo and every once in a while, I have one published. When I started this hobby, some 60 years ago, the photo album was the way your showed off snapshots, and for weddings and special occasions, a special album of leather or even metal was standard practice.

Now, it seems, you're supposed to carry your best pictures in a iPod or Blackberry and, while at home, you just bring them up on your computer monitor and look at them that way. Well, I thought my photos deserved the old-fashioned treatment, but try finding a high-quality photo album nowadays, especially in 5x7 format.

After going to the two remaining local "camera stores," and finding junk, and not wanting "magnetic" paged albums which often deteriorate over time, I tried Amazon, and found these.

Beautifully bound, with silver corners, each page enhances the photos rather than detracting from them. They are nicely bound, and all and all, this is a quality album, so much so that I just ordered a third album in burgundy. To spend that kind of money shows just how much I love these albums.

This photo album really is exactly what you would get from a professional photographer for much less money! There are silver metal corners on every page which I would not have preferred as it gives it an older look, but still looks very nice.

I love this album. The quality is great for the price. The deail on corners & matting is great. It really makes your pictures "POP". With everyone doing digital albums, the beauty of real prints is getting lost but w/ this album, you can clearly see the presentation difference.

My photographer wanted to charge me $120 for an album identical to this one!! We gave this to my parents with pictures from our wedding- the so-so pictures look 100% better in this album. I am extremely impressed and will be ordering more albums like this and from this seller (venice_albums)in the future. Fantastic quality, awesome pricing, and fast shipping!

I bought 2 of these photo books to give to my parents and inlaws with pictures of our wedding. The books were great. The pictures slid in easily and looked great. This was way cheaper than paying my photographer for parent albums. I would definitely recommend these books. They looked really professional.
