5.0 out of 5 stars "Heartstrings"
This album is one of the most intricate, emotional, and intellectual releases you may grace your ears with in a long while. Danielle Brancaccio's voice is so delicate and graceful; playful like a carousel yet smooth and ultra sultry. Ken Rockwood's impeccable and sweet guitar playing is the perfect match to the lyrics he so masterfully pens. Your friends will love you...

1.0 out of 5 stars WOW
Bob was right. After the first song I went insane and had my wife lop off my ears with a nail clipper and the jewel case the CD came in. This CD is for people who no longer desire to hear normally again.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this album - very different from most - there was no backup noise and the songs were great. my favorite was Whirl, the last song on the album. The guitar playing was in perfect sync with the lyrics. A very creative piece. It was just one good album

5.0 out of 5 stars History in the making, December 1, 2005
This review is from: Professor & Maryann (Audio CD)
At once both stark and elaborately lush, this album is one of the best efforts from the duo. Danielle's vocals have never been better, particularly on Electric Lights and Not You, Not Me. Professor and Maryann is emotive and beautiful; a can't miss in their short collection of albums.

5.0 out of 5 stars makes you stop and listen., December 25, 2005

When I first heard the Professor and Maryann, I was parking my car, and about to exit.

But -- I didn't exit. I was so intrigued...

Their music compelled me to stay in the parked car until the end of their show.

That was years ago...and I still remember that moment.

I have "Not You, Not Me" playing on repeat now.

I can't stop.

I CAN'T STOP.

I know I've said this before -- but this time, it's REAL -- this time I really am IN LOVE!
