This post is exactly what I needed to bring the seat slightly more forward to replicate a tri bike set up on a standard road bike.

Got this as I do a couple of tri's each season but have not yet made taking the plunge and gotten a dedicated TT bike. Wanted to see if the seat tube angle would make much of a difference in how 'fresh' my legs are after the bike. Pretty easy saddle installation and adjustment. Carbon seat post is nice as I definitively feel a difference from a AL once in term of vibration. I like the position better as I feel like I am more over the aero bars. Don't know if I can say my legs are any better in the run with this more forward position as I hate running to begin with. But is you want to tri a TT position without droppign another $2k on a second bike then give this a try.

Bought this for my road bike to convert it into a tri bike. This will give you another 3 or so inches to play with. Worked great for me, I can finally stay in my tuck.
