Serves its purpose
I purchased this item to pair with the Garmin Forerunner bike mount as I needed to mount my Forerunner 305 to the aerobars on my bike. And for that purpose it works well. It was simple enough to attach via the treaded band (of which 2 are included in the packaging, so you have a backup if something happens). Overall, this product serves its purpose and I have not notes...

Strips out easily
While this does work, it very easily stripped out and you can not tighten it as tight as you would want it and end up stripping it. It still works, but it is not what I would call high quality by any means.

Length of mounting post is the right size for a wide computer or wide HRM. The twist-on mounting clamp assembly slips when tightened enough to secure the mount. Solved slipping problem by coating the clamp threads with silicone glue (before screwing on mount post) and then letting dry prior to installing computer (still removable). OK performance, poor design.
