This is by far the best handlebar tape I have used. It's long enough to allow 50% overlap with plenty to spare. It can be pulled tight with no danger of tearing. Best of all, it has no adhesive on the back side (other than on the small piece that goes behind the brake lever), so there's no problem with unwinding it if it doesn't go on right the first time. I wound it like old-style cloth tape, from the center out to the bar-ends, and it worked better than other brands of cork tape when installed this way. It also feels thicker than other brands I have used. Highly recommended.

This tape was super easy to install, very flexible and quite tough. It is also very comfortable. It does not have adhesive tape on it.
