This is a wonderful book about many influential African-Americans throughout history, such as Malcolm X and Oprah. The profiles are well-written and informative, and the book's design is simple, beautiful, and attractive. However, certain sentences sound a bit biased, and certain sections often sound like editorials rather than biographies.
But, all problems aside, an extremely informative and expertly written book. I recommend it.
