This review is from: Profit in Your Poetry (Audio CD)
Very beautiful debut full length. A little 'Before Hollywood' and much more '16 Lovers Lane(light orchestration in parts)'. Also a touch of the Triffids with C86 sensibilities.
Translation= I love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this album, January 27, 2009
This review is from: Profit in Your Poetry (Audio CD)
I used to think that this album was a guilty pleasure... and then I gave a copy to a couple of my friends, and they all like it as much as I do!

Personally, I think they sound most like Okkervil River, but with a more harmonious instrumentation and disinterested vocals (this is a good thing). I really like the singer's voice, it's deep and has a lot of inflection.

Highly Recommended.
