This book is so easy to read and easy to use as a resource. I got it in a classroom setting, but I had to come out here and tell the world how useful the product is! It defined terms that the novice wouldn't know. It gave insider advice about how not to look like a 'rank amateur' and told great stories to really drive its points home! EJ's been there and been successful. She is someone you can really learn from!

Publishing is a tough business. I have commercially published over a dozen books and lived off royalties for many years, and I learned a lot from this book! Wow, EJ - thank you!

...while you are working on your book, before and after it is finished and while you are soliciting publishers. This information isn't like what everyone else is telling you at the clubs, this information is just plain common sense and good business.

If you're a writer, you need this book!

What EJ Thornton teaches about how to publish a book is up-to-date, addresses self-publishing and on demand publishing (not available when I started out) and many more topics that intended to empower the author to create and publish the books of their dreams!

It is usually the most valued possession of the students when they leave. The people who value it the most are the people who tried to publish their books first and had difficulty. They all say, "Gosh, if I had just read this book first, I'd have saved so much money, time and tears!" Also available in Kindle for those of you who want to start reading this book on your PC right away!

EJ gives great advice to the aspiring author. She's helped dozens of first time authors complete their books and get them published - and it shows! This is a great resource!

Combine these books together and you have a winning proposition! OMG!

I knew what I wanted to write about, but didn't know how to organize it. Thinking about the end-customer helped me do that. Then when it came to actually publishing it, this book - especially the anecdotal stories - illustrated how to get it done and do it right the first time! I've talked to so many other first-time-authors who self published who think I must've been the 'golden child' because I was able to avoid their costly mistakes!

Well worth the price of admission! Especially if you want to self publish!

The content was very simplistic - I didn't learn anything I didn't already know. Also, the book is rife with typos and grammatical errors. That made me question the book's credibility; especially considering the topic is book publishing.
