A Kid's Review
This review is from: Proglution (Audio CD)
Proglution, which is UVERworld's third album, introduces a bit more of an electronic element to the UVER sound without being too much of a departure. In particular, tracks 8-14 are strung together as one long suite that is really very nice. Laka Laka La is another great example of the group exploring a little more into the rhythmic and laid-back style, but it's still definitely UVERworld.
If you are just getting to know UVERworld, please check out my review of their first album, TIMELESS, as I have posted a lot of information that might be helpful in getting acquainted with this group and tracking down their music. Also I recommend using the amazon marketplate vendor nobackorder, if they have what you want in stock, as their customer service and prices are fantastic.
I re-post the tracks here as they might be a little easier to read.

Proglution is different than their other two albums. At first I was not so sure I liked it, but now it has fallen in with the others. I liked Unknown Orchestra from the first time I heard it. Shaka Beach had grown on me, and forcast map 1955 though under 2 minutes is one of my favorites. I had read after I bought it though that Takuya wants to write songs that are hard to understand. Well, I'm not sure about that, but they are different than most lyrics I hear. He seems to have a depth of thought that most songwriters rarely use. My appreciation of his work becomes greater with each new album.
If you get the chance to watch the video of Shaka Beach, I highly recommend it. There is a line I love that goes something like let summer swallow spring, fall, and winter, so this can go on forever.
Next to Buck-Tick, I would love to seem UVERworld in concert someday. I hope this was helpful.
