WARNING! Book REQUIRES audio tapes that are no longer in print.., October 20, 2006
This review is from: Programmed Ear Training: Intervals and Melody and Rhythm (Paperback)
This book is useless unless you have the companion audio tapes as well (sold seperately). The first direction in the book is "insert audio tape #A-1 and follow the instructions". If you can find the audio tapes in some online auction or something it would be well worth the money, but you can't buy the audio tapes new as they have been out of print for years. The book description does not indicate this, unfortunately. It's a shame, too, becuase it looks like it would be an excellent book in combination with the audio tapes, and if they do ever come back in print I would definately recommend the book and the tapes to those who want to develop ear training skills on their own.
