This book met my expectations. This book had helped me understand program design and logic. If you are a beginner or have to take this class in college, I do recommend this book.

I have been using the logic that I've learned in this book ever since I've read it. I would recommend buying this book if you want a good foundation on the basic logic of programming.

Good deal on a needed book...
Book lays out the basics and is needed for my college programming course, not a whole lot to say because if your told you need it you need, but I would think about shopping around for a different source if you are not required to have this as when you get to topics like Object oriented programming the descriptions become vague and very poorly writen, which is sad because that is such an important concept.

Great book for students to understand as beginner programmers trying to figure out how to properly plan a program. However, I think for the price of the book the coursemate extras should be included.
